Be the difference.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Plans, coordinates, implements, and evaluates a variety of recreation programs and services to meet patient needs for social, physical, and cognitive functioning.</p> <p>Accountabilities</p> <ul> <li>Works with patients in groups and individually to assess therapy needs and develop appropriate activities, programs, and treatments processes. </li><li>Documents treatment, evaluation, and patient progress as required by the department. </li><li>Ensures maintenance of equipment in safe and proper working order; reports unsafe conditions and requests repairs as necessary. </li><li>Provides oversight to RTA, technical support, students and volunteers. </li><li>Participates in studies to determine needs for new programs or services, develops and recommends new programs for identified patient needs. </li><li>Collaborates with an interdisciplinary treatment team to provide patient care; attend patient treatment meetings. </li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. </li></ul> <p>Supervisory/Management Responsibility</p> <p>This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.</p> <p>Minimum Requirements</p> <p>Bachelor's Degree in Recreational Therapy</p> <p>Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses</p> <p>CTRS certification through NCTRC (Lawson Code CTRS)</p> <p>In Lieu Of The Above Minimum Requirements</p> <p>Team members employed in this job prior to July 1, 2020 are grandfathered under prior educational and experience requirements.
