<p>We are seeking a Student Development/Summer Program Assistant for our Student Support Services-ESL Program. The Student Development/Summer Program Assistant supports the daily operations of the Summer Program. The Student Development/Summer Program Assistant will assist with student engagement, providing administrative support, and ensuring that students receive the support they need to succeed. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for helping others, and an ability to manage various administrative tasks related to the center's operations.</p> <p>This is a grant funded, part-time, hourly position.</p> <p>Example of Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Assist with the development, organization, and implementation of the summer program. </li><li>Attend Program trainings, meetings, and events. </li><li>Ensure that students are actively engaged and following the schedule. </li><li>Support staff with the preparation and coordination of program events and services. </li><li>Respond to student inquiries, either in-person, by phone, virtual, or via email, in a professional and timely manner. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Associate degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred. </li><li>Experience with tutoring, mentoring, or student success programs. </li><li>Must be very organized, detail oriented, and maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism. </li><li>Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills to engage with students and staff. </li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Passion for supporting students from diverse backgrounds. </li></ul> <p>The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate.</p>
