<p>Job Title: Assembly Line Supervisor</p> <p>Department: Operations</p> <p>Reports to: Manager, Assembly Line</p> <p>Direct Reports: Assembly Line Technicians</p> <p>Location(s): Philadelphia</p> <p>Summary of Position:</p> <p>Manages for all assembly line activities at the Philadelphia site including the delivery of both the 119 Koala and AW139 aircraft.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <p>1.Manages assembly line activities including</p> <p>meeting quality, cost, schedule, and safety requirements as set forth in the operational plan.</p> <p>2.Develops internal schedules for the assembly line in coordination with support functions.</p> <p>3.Sets daily, weekly, and monthly goals for the assembly line teams.</p> <p>4.Coordinates all assembly line activities and aircraft availability.</p> <p>5.Coordinates with production supervision, flight line supervision, and quality control personnel on the transfer of aircraft from production to the flight line.</p> <p>6.Assures personnel receive required training and maintain the training records for</p> <p>their employees.</p> <p>7.Ensures that all tooling is made available for required jobs.</p> <p>8.Develops assembly line teams and ensures team leaders are identified for the assembly line.</p> <p>9.Identifies and requests daily parts requisition to meet mission requirements.</p> <p>10.Perform other duties and fulfill other responsibilities as assigned.</p> <p>11.Develop and manage work team schedule as required to meet production requirements.</p> <p>Qualifications for Position:</p> <p>Education: HS diploma or equivalent; BS desirable</p> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Five (5) years of assembly line experience </li><li>One to three (1-3) years in a leadership role </li></ul> <p>Competencies & Attributes:</p> <ul> <li>Strong understanding of aviation technology </li><li>Ability to teach and develop technical abilities in employees as well as lead people effectively by guiding and coaching others to improve skills and achieve goals. </li><li>Strong written and oral communication skills. </li><li>Strong pc skills. </li><li>Intercultural awareness, ability to create and maintain relationships </li></ul> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer/Vet/Disability</p>
