<p>Overview:</p> <p>Negotiates transaction deal documents and facilitates deal closings in a timely manner for mostly mid-tier and could negotiate some large-tier Global Capital Markets (GCM) clients.</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities:</p> <p>Negotiate and close transactions in which Wilmington Trust serves in a Trustee capacity as well as other complementary roles and products.</p> <p>Serve as client-facing centralized deal manager for transactions for internal operational and support groups.</p> <p>Meet with clients and attend some conferences as deemed appropriate</p> <p>Assist Sales with business development initiatives and coordinate deal structures depending on asset type.</p> <p>Serve as internal liaison for all support groups surrounding deal closings.</p> <p>Independently address escalated client issues and ensure they are prioritized appropriately and resolved.</p> <p>May assist in coaching and mentoring less experienced personnel.</p> <p>Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.</p> <p>Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.</p> <p>Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.</p> <p>Complete other related duties as assigned.</p> <p>Scope of Responsibilities:</p> <p>This position work mostly independently under limited management supervision.</p> <p>Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:</p> <p>None</p> <p>Education and Experience Required:</p> <p>Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years' related experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 9 years' higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 5 years' related experience</p> <p>Education and Experience Preferred:</p> <p>Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Juris Doctor (JD) degree</p> <p>GCM deal closing experience</p> <p>Corporate Trust experience</p> <p>Ability to read and interpret legal documents</p> <p>Strong legal background</p> <p>M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $121,698.75 - $202,831.26 Annual (USD).
