<p>Lunch Aide, Early Morning , Recess Aide and Crossing Guard:</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Lunch Aide/Recess Aide:</p> <ul> <li>Supervises students in the cafeteria during meals </li><li>Maintain regular attendance </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li><li>Circulates among the tables during the mealtime so as to be available to children who need help or resolve problems that arise. </li><li>Supervise students and maintain a cooperative atmosphere during recess </li><li>Circulate among students and attempt to resolve minor problems as they arise. </li><li>Inform building administration immediately of any serous disciplinary problems. </li></ul> <p>Early Morning Aide and Crossing Guard</p> <ul> <li>Direct or escort pedestrians across streets, stopping traffic as necessary. </li><li>Guide or control vehicular or pedestrian traffic at such places as street. </li><li>Monitor traffic flow to locate safe gaps through which pedestrians can cross streets. </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</p> <ul> <li>Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking. </li><li>Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing. </li><li>Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations. </li><li>Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching. </li><li>Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights, up to 50 pounds </li></ul> <p>DUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or G.E.D.
