As a leader in acute care and behavioral health, UHS provides high-quality care to over 3 million patients annually, across our national network of facilities.</p> <p>The UHS Corporate Legal Department is hiring a Paralegal to assist the Senior Corporate Paralegal in providing professional support for various legal and corporate matters for Universal Health Services, Inc. and its other affiliated subsidiaries.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assist with acquisitions, transactions and facility corporate service reconfigurations, including but not limited to drafting of ancillary deal documents (e.g. bills of sale, powers of attorney, etc.)</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare all annual written consents and resolutions for UHS and its subsidiaries and assist in preparing and filing annual reports for those entities in all states in which UHS and its subsidiaries are qualified to do business</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare incorporation, dissolution, merger, qualification and fictitious name documents and other organizational documents</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare, organize and maintain corporate governance documents such as resolutions, minutes, consents, etc. for UHS, all of its subsidiaries and joint ventures</p> </li><li> <p>Serve as liaison with outside counsel on various projects</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain and update CSC database and organize files, maintain internal corporate listings</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Bachelor's degree preferred with 5 - 8 years' experience overall and a minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory role all in a corporate social media setting.</p> <ul> <li>Expert knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn) and Microsoft Office for business purposes. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite. Successful experience leading and inspiring teams. Strong commitment to Service Excellence </li><li>Must have excellent writing skills and the ability to write about complex subjects in a way that is interesting and easy-to-read for the average website/social media user </li><li>Working knowledge of social media copywriting techniques, best practices and familiarity with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques for web and social media </li><li>Fluent in AP Style.
