<p>Housing Clerk - Harrison Steel Castings Co.</p> <p>Harrison Steel Castings Co. has an opening for a Housing Clerk</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Receive bills and invoices for various properties and mark the appropriate accounts. </li><li>Update Monthly Journal and Monthly Billing binders. </li><li>Collect rent, manage the cash box, and allocate monies to correct accounts, which includes housing internet system entry and working with multiple departments. </li><li>Issue applications requested by potential tenants. </li><li>Manage and update tenant files. </li><li>Answer the housing department phone, communicate with utility companies, and field other business-related calls. </li><li>Create and send notices and confidential letters to tenants. </li><li>Keep Safety, Sales, and HR departments' water supply stocked. </li><li>Manage coffee bar. Duties include making, cleaning, and monitoring and stocking supplies. </li><li>Keep office and break area clean, neat, and tidy. </li><li>Make arrangements for Guest Houses. </li><li>Schedules inspections of Housing properties. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. </li><li>Valid Indiana Driver's License required. </li><li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. </li><li>Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel. </li><li>Background check required </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and vibration.
