Here at St. Peters Hospital, a part of St Peter's Health Partners, we care for more people in more places.</p> <p>Position Highlights:</p> <ul> <li>Quality of Life: Where career opportunities and quality of life converge </li><li>Advancement: Strong orientation program, generous tuition allowance and career development </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Complete understanding of echo equipment including safety regulations and malfunctions. </li><li>Secures order for test and identifies proper patient. </li><li>Obtains patient history and indications </li><li>Explains procedure to patient </li><li>Accurately enters data </li><li>Performs echocardiography to include M-mode, 2-D, Doppler as indicated </li><li>Assists MD and other staff with TEES, Stress echo, Pharmacology studies </li><li>Obtains proper views as indicated </li><li>Accurately measures and calculates all data </li><li>Prepares concise summary of study for interpreting cardiologist </li><li>Reports significant findings </li><li>Ensures transmission of data </li><li>Answers questions within scope of responsibility for patient, staff and others. </li></ul> <p>What you will need:</p> <ul> <li>The Medical Imaging Sonographer must be ARDMS registry eligible. The Sonographer must have certificate of completion from a medical sonography program that is supported by the ARDMS. ARDMS registered preferred within 18 months of hire. BLS required within 30 days of hire. </li></ul> <p>Pay Range: $37.60 - $54.79</p> <p>Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
