<p>Req Id: 36064</p> <p>Job Title: Lecturer</p> <p>City: West Lafayette</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Oral English Proficiency Program (OEPP) invites applications for the position of OEPP Lecturer. This position is a full-time appointment as an instructor of four sections per academic year of SCLA 620: Academic and Professional Communication for International Teaching Assistants. SCLA 620 focuses on improving oral communication in support of international graduate students' educational and professional activities. The Lecturer position primarily focuses on teaching SCLA 620. Additional duties include a) participating in rater training and rating activities related to the Oral English Proficiency Test (OEPT); b) participating in curriculum training/mentor meetings; c) attending departmental/program meetings; d) holding weekly individual conference and tutoring sessions; and e) other duties as assigned.
