Your responsibilities will drive revenue growth by identifying opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction. Successful candidates in this role will participate in a 5-week sales training program called Ryerson Academy, which will provide them with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel as an Account Representative.</p> <p>Roles and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Processes customer orders, makes sales calls, and works to establish relationships with customers </li><li>Continues to build territory/account approach and monitor resources </li><li>Works with different departments to execute account development plans </li><li>Prioritizes concurrent customers' demands and provides satisfactory service to all </li><li>Balances concurrent requests for assistance from internal and external customers for customer service issues </li><li>Tasks must be completed with speed and accuracy </li><li>All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree preferred in business, sales and marketing, economics, or related fields </li><li>1-3 years of sales or related experience </li><li>Experience in the Metal industry is preferred </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) </li><li>SAP Experience is a plus </li><li>Excellent professional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills </li><li>Positive attitude, competitive, goal-oriented, driven with a passion to excel </li></ul> <p>We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex (including gender identity, sexual orientation or preference, and pregnancy), age, national origin, religion, disability or genetic information, marital status, status as a veteran, or any other federal, state or local protected class or artificial barrier</p>
