This role functions as a leader and subject matter expert related to Patient AR.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Oversee day to day responsibilities of the Patient AR staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure the team is well versed in customer service.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures patient accounts are billed accurately, timely and in a compliant manner.</p> </li><li> <p>Review and approve collection adjustments (write-offs, collection agency referral, probate, etc.) within designated range.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain patient bad debt at target levels.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for managing and maintaining Patient A/R days in compliance with established benchmarks.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform monthly staff account audits to determine accuracy and error ratings.</p> </li><li> <p>Work with manufacturer and Foundation/Patient Assistance representatives to streamline processes and ensure policy and procedures are followed.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop, review and update benchmarks for staff and monitor staff levels as appropriate to meet benchmarks.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage employee relations issues appropriately as needed and participate in disciplinary decisions and counseling process.</p> </li><li> <p>Work closely with members of management team to collaborate regarding shared issues.</p> </li></ul> <p>Key Competencies:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Excellent customer service skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrates positive and professional behavior in the workplace.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to monitor/access performance of self, other individuals, or organization to recommend improvement to workflow, processes, and procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of clinic office procedures, medical practice and medical terminology including drug indications.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient in the use of end-user computer applications regarding productivity (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, payer sites), database and patient scheduling and other medical information systems.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Customer Service background preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of ICD10, CPT and HCPCS codes required.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).</p> </li><li> <p>Associates degree or equivalent experience required.</p> </li><li> <p>1+ years of experience in a community oncology setting preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>3+ years of RCM healthcare experience required including authorizations.</p> </li><li> <p>2+ years of supervisor experience preferred.</p> </li></ul> <p>Salary Range: $64,482.48 - $79043.04</p>
