<p>Position Type:</p> <p>Supplemental Positions/Technology Innovator</p> <p>Date Posted:</p> <p>4/1/2025</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Downingtown, PA</p> <p>Date Available:</p> <p>2025/2026 School Year</p> <p>Closing Date:</p> <p>Open Until Filled</p> <p>  Additional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>Position: Technology Innovators</p> <p>Location: District</p> <p>Benefits Eligible: No</p> <p>Effective Date: Beginning of 2025-2026 school year</p> <p>Internal Only - Position is renewed annually</p> <p>Downingtown Area School District is excited to announce openings for Technology Innovators.</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The role of the DASD Technology Innovator is to support the integration of instructional technology, in keeping with Title II requirements: Carry out programs and activities that are designed to improve the quality of the teacher force, such as:</p> <ul> <li>Implementation of innovative professional development programs, including programs that train teachers and administrators to integrate technology to improve teaching, learning, curricula and technology pedagogy </li><li>Integration of strategies that incorporate technology pedagogy with content pedagogy in a blended learning environment </li><li>Length of position/contract: One year (1), as allowable by Title II funding </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited college or university and hold a proper Pennsylvania certification for the position</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrates knowledge in the area of assignment</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge in academic use of technology</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency in use of technology for individual, small, and large group instruction</p> </li><li> <p>Possess effective interpersonal skills with the ability to interface diplomatically with other teachers, administrators, parents, students, support staff and outside professional contracts</p> </li><li> <p>Must successfully complete and maintain compliance with all federal and state background and criminal record check requirements</p> </li><li> <p>Click here for more information about required clearances</p> </li><li> <p>Candidate must adhere to all local, state, federal, and school code requirements for employment</p> </li></ul> <p>Essential Functions: (Abbreviated - Please review the attached Job Description for more details on this specific opportunity)</p> <ul> <li>Develop and lead professional development focused on district-wide technology initiatives during designated times throughout the school year </li><li>Support district-wide technology initiatives in the building </li><li>Participate in no more than three (3) days of training / planning / preparation during the summer and/or after school during the school year (equivalent to 18 hours per Tech Innovator per school year) </li></ul> <p>Compensation 2025-2026 School Year:</p> <p>Payment for supplemental Building leadership positions can be found in section 4.9 District and Building Leadership Compensation of the current collective bargaining agreement, which can be accessed by clicking here.</p> <p>EOE</p> <p>Attachment(s):</p> <ul> <li>Tech Innovator </li></ul>
