<p>About the job</p> <p>The Third-Party Risk Manager will oversee and evolve PayU GPO's Third Party Risk and Merchant Credit Risk Management frameworks, focusing on identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks posed by third-party relationships. The role requires expertise in managing a robust risk management program in a financially regulated global environment and a strong understanding of the payment ecosystem.</p> <p>Key ResponsibilitiesThird-Party Risk Management</p> <ul> <li>Develop and mature a strategic, comprehensive, and compliant Third-Party Risk Management program. </li><li>Lead due diligence for evaluating new suppliers and assess ongoing third-party risks. </li><li>Continuously monitor third-party relationships to ensure alignment with risk appetite. </li><li>Respond to incidents and maintain contingency plans for third-party failures. </li></ul> <p>Merchant Credit Risk Management</p> <ul> <li>Build and implement a Merchant Credit Risk program to assess and manage creditworthiness. </li><li>Oversee merchant credit assessments and regularly review their credit exposure. </li><li>Implement risk mitigation tools such as letters of credit and performance bonds. </li><li>Lead merchant risk approval processes and reporting. </li></ul> <p>Risk Monitoring & Reporting</p> <ul> <li>Monitor third-party and merchant risks, identifying trends and emerging risks. </li><li>Provide regular risk reports to senior management and escalate issues when necessary. </li><li>Ensure regulatory compliance with evolving third-party and merchant risk standards. </li></ul> <p>Cross-Functional Collaboration</p> <ul> <li>Partner with Procurement, Legal, Compliance, Security, and Operational teams to integrate risk management. </li><li>Act as a subject matter expert on risk mitigation strategies and best practices. </li><li>Deliver training programs to build a strong risk culture within the organization. </li></ul> <p>Required Experience and Skills</p> <ul> <li>7+ years in third-party risk management, credit risk, or operational audit. </li><li>Hands-on experience building and managing risk programs. </li><li>Proven ability to identify, communicate, and mitigate risks to senior leadership. </li><li>Experience driving change adoption in risk processes. </li><li>Strong knowledge of Polish and EU regulations and the payment ecosystem. </li><li>Analytical skills and experience with financial statement analysis and credit risk. </li><li>Project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams. </li><li>Excellent communication and influencing skills in English. </li></ul> <p>Desirable Experience</p> <ul> <li>Risk certifications (e.g., CTPRP, CCP) and experience with global risk programs. </li></ul> <p>Background in regulated companies in the payments industry.</p> <ul> <li>Experience with regulatory bodies in Poland and the EU. </li></ul>
