Be the difference.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Technical Systems Educator is primarily responsible for delivering end-user training for all EMR (Epic) system applications, working closely with physicians, providers, and non-clinical staff in order to develop competence in the use of clinical and business information systems. Additionally, they are responsible for creating and delivering end user training for corporate-wide system applications, such as Workday, Microsoft 365, etc. They serve as the primary educator and post-support knowledge trainer in various applications for individuals, groups and teams. The Technical Systems Educator works closely with Epic Analysts to ensure curriculum is tested and updated timely and with high quality. They are responsible for providing at-the-elbow (ATE) concierge service for physicians and, as needed/per special requests, other clinicians. Educators must acquire and maintain credentialing status in every assigned application they teach. Collaboration with subject matter experts (SMEs) to extract updated information for curriculum development/enhancement and classroom delivery is a must. In addition to New Team Member education, Technical Systems Educators are responsible for Epic implementations/upgrades, system-wide.</p> <p>NOTE: Upon hire, educator must meet the recommended training requirements documented as Prisma Health and/or Epic's best practice. Credentialing in assigned applications and other required administrative work and coursework must be obtained within eight weeks of assignment. Failure to do so could result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.</p> <p>Accountabilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Deliver end user training for all EMR system applications (New team members and implementations) and other organization-wide systems programs - 30%</p> </li><li> <p>Assists in auditing and enhancing EMR application curricula for new team member delivery. - 20%</p> </li><li> <p>Provides ATE training for providers and other appointed clinicians. - 20%</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborates with SMES in their assigned applications to ensure updated content and to enhance relationships. - 20%</p> </li><li> <p>Completes quarterly presentation audit of assigned applications with team. - 5%</p> </li><li> <p>Helps develop and deploy virtual and eLearning tips on assigned applications. - 5%</p> </li></ul> <p>Supervisory/Management Responsibility</p> <p>This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.</p> <p>Minimum Education</p> <p>Bachelor's Degree - General Education, Information Sciences, Business Management, Training and Development, Clinical Informatics, Project Management or related area of expertise</p> <p>Minimum Experience</p> <p>2 years - Adult healthcare education experience with minimum 2 years in a medical office or healthcare facility training setting preferred, minimum of 1 year of training on EMR preferred.
