Our inclusive culture encourages all employees to share ideas, collaborate, and contribute to the values that make us a winning team for our customers, shareholders, and communities.</p> <p>Position Overview</p> <p>The Trust Relationship Manager is responsible for managing and growing relationships with customers that have a trust, investment management, and/or estate planning needs. This role involves a mix of financial expertise, relationship management skills, and strong sales and business development skills. The Trust Relationship Manager builds strong relationships with customers, understands their financial goals, and offers tailored trust and estate planning solutions while ensuring all trust accounts are managed in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Grows or builds book of business and generates fee income through individual business development efforts. </li><li>Serves as the primary point of contact for trust account customers. </li><li>Establishes strategic partnerships with businesses, associations, community organizations, and other centers of influence to generate leads and referrals. </li><li>Develops and maintains strong relationships with customers, understanding their financial needs and objectives. </li><li>Stays updated on changes in trust laws and regulations to ensure sound fiduciary decisions are made and internal practices remain compliant. </li><li>Serves as a subject matter expert when interacting with customers, heirs, attorneys, and other interested parties as necessary over the life of the account. Engages others to provide additional information as needed. </li><li>Identifies opportunities to expand customer base and grow assets under management. </li><li>Promotes trust services and products to potential clients using a variety of methods and channels. </li><li>Organizes and conduct customer and prospect seminars on trust and estate planning topics. </li><li>Collaborates with other bank partners to offer additional products and services to meet customer needs and deepen and expand customer relationship. </li><li>Manages customer relationships by maintaining contact with existing customers and appropriate advisors. </li><li>Maintains an awareness of new business opportunities with customers and actively refers and assists customers with obtaining specialized services from other departments. </li></ul> <p>Education and Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>A B.S. or B.A. degree in a related field normally required. </li><li>Professional certifications such as Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) is strongly preferred. </li><li>A minimum of six (6) years' experience trust management, wealth management, or a related field normally required. </li><li>Ability to travel to meet with customers, attend events, meetings, and networking opportunities, is required. </li></ul> <p>Mid Penn Bank offers rewarding career opportunities, competitive wages, great incentives and benefits.</p> <p>Qualified applicants are considered without regard to race, color, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin, genetic information, pregnancy, disability, or protected veteran status.
