<p>Position Overview</p> <p>Butler University is seeking an energized and motivated team member to direct The Office of Continuing and Professional Education (OCPE). This is an on-campus position reporting directly to the Associate Vice President of Transformation.</p> <p>The OCPE is an innovative office that provides industry-aligned training for individuals, organizations, or industries wishing to advance their skills. Specifically, the OCPE offers non-credit programs for organizations, businesses, industries, personal enrichment and development, educational organizations, and public-service learning.</p> <p>The Director will have the opportunity to create and implement a strategy to grow continuing and professional education for Butler University. This strategy will include creating and expanding offerings to support organizations, industries, and students through professional/ personal development offerings. Additionally, the director will manage the daily operations of the OCPE and lead team members to support the office's goals. This position works closely to align strategy and offerings with Butler's seven colleges, the Transformation Lab, and the Office of Strategic Engagement. Additionally, the director will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand the complex workforce and educational market needs and recommend value-added offerings to meet these demands.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will exhibit previous work and life experiences that prepare them to contribute to our commitment to engagement and inclusion of culturally diverse students, faculty, and staff.
