Join us and take your career to the next level in a role that blends innovation, technical leadership, and meaningful contributions.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <p>Architecture & Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Architect complex FPGA and embedded solutions, leveraging advanced design techniques and mastery of VHDL/Verilog </li><li>Provide technical leadership across projects, guiding teams in developing optimized digital design solutions </li><li>Mentor junior engineers to foster skill development and ensure high-quality outcomes </li></ul> <p>Design & Development</p> <ul> <li>Translate high-level system requirements into efficient, optimized FPGA architectures and designs </li><li>Design and implement high-performance digital circuits and systems using industry best practices </li><li>Convert signal processing algorithms into FPGA designs, optimizing for power, performance, and resource constraints </li></ul> <p>Collaboration & Integration</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to integrate FPGA solutions into PCBs and hardware platforms </li><li>Partner with project managers to define project strategies, timelines, and resource allocation </li></ul> <p>Innovation & Optimization</p> <ul> <li>Stay up to date on emerging FPGA, SoC, and RFSoC technologies to integrate cutting-edge tools and methodologies </li><li>Utilize Python, TCL, and other scripting languages to automate workflows and improve efficiency </li><li>Perform debugging, timing analysis, and optimization to ensure design integrity and performance </li></ul> <p>What You'll Bring</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field </li><li>10+ years of FPGA design and development experience </li><li>Proficiency in VHDL/Verilog and familiarity with FPGA toolchains (e.g., Xilinx, Intel) </li><li>Expertise with tools such as Vivado or Quartus and knowledge of recent AMD Xilinx/Intel Altera FPGA architectures </li><li>Strong background in digital logic design, embedded systems, and FPGA architecture </li><li>Experience with RTL simulation, debugging, timing analysis, and optimization </li><li>Excellent collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional team settings </li><li>Ability to architect digital hardware and support circuit card designs from schematic capture through bring-up is a strong plus </li></ul> <p>Why Join Us?</p> <ul> <li>Opportunity to work on impactful projects that enhance national security </li><li>A collaborative, innovative environment with access to the latest technologies </li><li>Career development opportunities, including leadership roles and exposure to multidisciplinary challenges </li><li>Competitive compensation and benefits package </li></ul> <p>What Sets Us Apart?</p> <p>SRC, Inc., a not-for-profit research and development company, combines information, science, technology and ingenuity to solve "impossible" problems in the areas of defense, environment and intelligence. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $120,000 to $173,000 annually.
