<p>Job Title: Structural Engineer</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated structural engineer with over 4 years of experience to join our dynamic team in New York City. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in transportation planning, traffic analysis, and engineering design, focusing on urban environments and multi-modal transportation systems. This position offers the opportunity to work on exciting, high-impact transportation projects that directly contribute to the development and improvement of NYC's transportation infrastructure.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Perform structural analysis and prepare design analyses on concrete foundations, steel towers, bridges, hanger systems, and other structural elements of a construction project. </li><li>Prepare design computations, plans, and related construction documents. </li><li>Prepare quantity and cost estimates. </li><li>Prepare reports, studies, and permits for a variety of projects. </li><li>Review drawings and documents to ensure compliance with design and production standards. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>4+ years experience as a structural engineer working on bridges and transportation projects. </li><li>Proficiency in Civil 3D or AutoCAD. </li><li>Experience with roadway design, MicroStation, and project management. </li><li>Professional Engineer (PE) license. </li><li>Experience in structural design, structural analysis, and transportation engineering. </li><li>EIT certification is required. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience in land development, stormwater management, site development, grading, drainage, and site planning. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This is a minority-owned business that offers a hybrid office schedule with 2-3 days in the office. Our team works from 9 AM to 5 PM in a business casual environment. This role is 100 percent production-oriented and provides core services of design engineering, construction inspection, and program management to public and private organizations throughout the Midwest and Northeast.
