As a PCNA on this team, you will assist RNs in ensuring safety, reducing falls, reporting critical findings and relaying patient information to delegated staff and/or loved ones. Not only will you gain extensive hands-on experience, but you can also pursue tuition reimbursement and loan assistance for enhancing your skills through Nursing School.</p> <p>A caregiver in this position works varying shifts from 6:30AM - 3:00PM or 2:30PM - 11:00PM, with every other weekend and holiday requirements</p> <p>A caregiver who excels in this role will:</p> <ul> <li>Provide or assist with patient care under the supervision of an RN, such as taking vitals and weight, assisting patients with personal care, point of care testing, dressing changes, applying external monitoring devices and removing urinary Foley Catheters. </li><li>Report abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to an RN. </li><li>Assist with keeping patients' rooms clean and orderly. </li></ul> <p>Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma/GED </li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) upon or within new hire period </li><li>Military experience as a Hospital Corpsman (HM), Combat Medic (68W) or Medical Service Technician (4N0X1) considered </li><li>One to two years of patient care experience </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li>State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) </li></ul> <p>Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
