<p>Job Responsibilities</p> <p>With our Agency's mission to support the recovery of people with mental illnesses, we provide a complete array of medical and support services for children, adults, and families throughout South Carolina.</p> <p>This position is with the Department of Mental Health, Beckman Center for Mental Health Services, Greenwood Mental Health Clinic.</p> <p>Under general supervision, position provides treatment services to children and adolescents with serious mental illness (SMI) and their families. Mental health services will be provided in a culturally competent manner, which will include but not be limited to assessment, crisis management, individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy.</p> <p>Minimum and Additional Requirements</p> <p>State Minimum Requirements:</p> <p>A master's degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field</p> <p>Agency Minimum Requirements:</p> <p>Must qualify for credentialing and privileging as a mental health professional and in accordance with Quality Assurance standards and with concurrence by DMH Office of Quality Management.</p> <p>Note: If any Agency Requirements are listed above, applicants must also meet those requirements to be considered for the position.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus.</p> <p>Additional Comments</p> <p>The South Carolina Department of Mental Health is an Equal Employment Opportunity Agency.
