<p>POSITION: Corporation Deputy Treasurer/Payroll and Benefits</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS: Proficient accounting, bookkeeping, Komputrol and secretarial skills</p> <p>LENGTH OF TERM: 12 months with vacation time per schedule</p> <p>REPORTS TO: Corporation Treasurer</p> <p>PAY: Commensurate with Experience</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>PAYROLL </li><li>Prepare payroll claims, including lists of all certified and non-certified employees. </li><li>Run the trial journal, and when correct, print checks and deposit advice. </li><li>Prepare all payroll computer data (verifying & posting payroll). </li><li>Calculate and execute all garnishment orders. </li><li>After each pay, prepare depositors and electronically transfer funds for Federal tax and FICA tax withheld. </li><li>Pay State and County taxes to the Indiana Department of Revenue at the end of each month online by Electronic Fund Transfer. </li><li>Prepare and mail payments for all annuities each pay. </li><li>Prepare a spreadsheet with all payroll figures and deductions to be used for balancing purposes monthly, quarterly, and annually </li><li>Prepare each pay reports for all employees' retirement fund </li><li>Monthly, complete the Bureau of Labor report </li><li>Quarterly, prepare unemployment reports </li><li>Quarterly, prepare form 941 to IRS </li><li>As needed, close all certified contracts and figure final pay for non-certified employees. </li><li>End of the calendar year, prepare W-2's for all employees. </li><li>Update the State of Indiana website with new hires. </li><li>Track 30 day trial periods for classified employees. </li><li>Prepare ECA contracts for lay coaches (teachers). </li><li>PERSONNEL/BENEFITS </li><li>Prepare and maintain all data for direct deposits for certified and classified personnel. </li><li>Prepare and reconcile all payments for all insurances monthly. </li><li>Prepare and track FMLA's. </li><li>Enroll and manage all insurance benefits </li><li>Assist employees with all insurance related questions and concerns. </li><li>Update certified staff personnel cards at the end of each school year. </li><li>REPORTS </li><li>Prepare Form 100R (List of all employees and yearly salaries) to the State Examiner every January for submission by Treasurer or Superintendent. </li><li>Run quarterly, fiscal and annual payroll reports. </li><li>Prepare short-term disability claims and reports. </li><li>Prepare long-term disability reports. </li><li>MISCELLANEOUS </li><li>Responsible for some payroll computer maintenance and back-ups. </li><li>Other duties as designated by the Treasurer and/or Superintendent. </li></ul> <p>Vacation/Sick/Personal Days</p> <p>10 Paid Holidays</p> <p>Medical</p> <p>Dental</p> <p>Vision</p> <p>Retirement</p>
