Through our research, outreach and entrepreneurial projects, Clemson University and its employees are driving economic development and improving quality of life in South Carolina and beyond.</p> <p>So,... are you ready?</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY:</p> <p>Clemson University¿s Parent Philanthropy Program is looking for a Donor Experience Officer (DXO) to fulfill the following duties:</p> <ul> <li>The Donor Experience Officer (DXO) focuses on providing personalized and engaging communications with prospective Clemson University donors to effectively build relationships and create connections to Clemson. </li><li>Manages approximately 1000 donors and leverages the Evertrue communication tools in order to engage with potential donors via personalized outreach. </li><li>The DXO supports annual fundraising goals of the Parent Philanthropy Program, cultivates prospective donors and identifies potential major gift opportunities. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>JOB DUTIES:</p> <p>35% - Essential - Donor Engagement and Relationship Building:</p> <p>Manage a portfolio of approximately 1000 prospects, leveraging Evertrue technology and communication tools in order to communicate in a personalized and impactful manner. Execute consistent touchpoints to build meaningful relationships and maintain consistent engagement with donors and prospects. Document all activity in the CRM.</p> <p>30% - Essential - Collaboration:</p> <p>Collaborate with campus partners and team members to develop qualified major gift referrals and connect prospective donors to relevant resources and individuals within Advancement. Support event outreach and identify initiatives that inspire increased donor engagement.</p> <p>20% - Essential - Solicitation and Fundraising:</p> <p>Leverage knowledge of the University's philanthropic opportunities to conduct virtual donor meetings and deliver personalized solicitations for annual gifts to meet and exceed fundraising goals. Meet solicitation goals of the Parent Philanthropy Program as outlined by the Evertrue program.</p> <p>15% - Essential - DXO Program:</p> <p>Work under the guidance and in collaboration with the Evertrue Advancement Programs Manager. Aim to mesh together Evertrue's development communication efforts with CU Advancement fundraising workflows in order to engage and grow the base of supporters of the University. Serve as the liaison between Evertrue and Clemson Advancement for the Parent DXO program.</p> <p>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:</p> <p>Education - Bachelor's Degree</p> <p>Work Experience - 1+ Years in program management, volunteer or donor relations or fundraising/higher education.
