Our foodservice business supplies many of the top restaurant chains in the United States.</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>Hiring for 3rd shift General Labor. No weekends.</p> <p>Works on production lines by assisting the operators by filling in for operator breaks, as well as setting up package room and doing swabs. May be asked to perform other tasks related to production duties through the plant as well. This position is designated as a Qualified Individual responsible for allergen, sanitation, and foreign material preventive controls</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Visually inspects product for quality defects and helps press operator with corrective actions. </li><li>Assists operators - blowing up flour and running mix, as needed, startup of dryers and equipment, moisture sampling </li><li>Assists in cleaning of area. </li><li>Maintains company standards for cleanliness, safety and productivity in the plant area. </li><li>Provides support for the press operator in maintaining continuous production. </li><li>Works cooperatively with other members of the production line. </li><li>Sets up package room - run dryers, moisture sampling, starting up of equipment </li><li>Conducts weekly traditional and MVP swabs, as prescribed by the program and QA Manager. </li></ul> <p>Ensures compliance to quality, food safety and HAACP support programs; assures conformity to all company, customer and government standards</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED certificate required. </li><li>Prior experience in a manufacturing environment requiring repetitive work preferred. </li><li>Basic mechanical aptitude is helpful </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions/Environment</p> <p>Works in a manufacturing environment where the employee is regularly required to speak, read, sit, stand, walk, lift and bend while moving about the facility. Must be able to move a weight of 50 pounds. Must be able to stand for an 8-hour shift. May be required to work overtime and/or weekends as needed. The employee is regularly exposed to heat, fumes, odors, dust, oil, slippery floors, moving parts/equipment and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the plant is below threshold. Earplugs, hairnets, and other PPE may be required, and are available if desired, in the plant in accordance with company GMP and safety standards</p>
