Some positions may be required to provide this critical service at any time.</p> <p>Under the direction of a higher-level Information Technology Architect, the Information Technology Architect 1 (ITA1) will be responsible for providing senior technical leadership within the project lifecycle, making decisions regarding the selection and utilization of software tools and platforms. The position will develop and implement integration standards and strategies within the scope of software development.</p> <p>Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:</p> <ul> <li>Evaluate, identify, and develop software solutions. </li><li>Lead software development projects. </li><li>Document and record every aspect of an application or software. </li><li>Plan, track and schedule software deliverables. </li><li>Locate and direct solutions for critical challenges involving software and hardware interfaces. </li><li>Identify problems within software systems and resolve such issues. </li><li>Develop good working relationships with other employees. </li><li>Develop and implement system and data integration standards and strategies. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Six (6) years of information technology experience, four (4) years of which must be in a specialty*. </li><li>Specialty includes experience as an IT architect in one or more of the following: artificial intelligence, cloud, data, enterprise, business, and solution. </li></ul> <p>Education/Experience Substitutions:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's or higher-level degree in any field including or supplemented by 15 semester credit hours in computer science or related field substitutes for three (3) years of general information technology experience; any bachelor's substitutes for two (2) years of general information technology experience. </li><li>Associate degree with 15 semester credit hours in computer science or related field may substitute for one (1) year of general information technology experience.
