With opportunities for diverse assignments and the potential for on-call duties, Intermediate Care Veterinary Technician/Nurses are essential to the hospital's success and the broader veterinary community.</p> <p>About us:</p> <p>Purdue Veterinary Hospital is adding a credentialed veterinary technician to our Intermediate Care Ward team. The Intermediate Care Ward hospitalizes stable patients that still require 24-hour care and offers the opportunity to practice critical thinking skills, technical skills, and patient care skills. As a teaching hospital supporting 15 different veterinary specialty departments, the veterinary nursing team in the Intermediate Care Ward have the opportunity to utilize their knowledge caring for a variety of hospitalized patients and work closely with the small animal specialty teams to provide around the clock care. Schedules may rotate through day/night shifts as well as weekends and holidays.
