WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Here's what you'll do when you join us: Plans individual and group opportunities for life enrichment experiences in accordance with the residents' preferences, needs, interests, abilities, and are consistent with goals and approaches. Involves residents and families in planning facility life enrichment/activity programs. Establishes and communicates a schedule of programming in accordance with resident needs, preferences, and standards. Ensures that all life enrichment personnel are aware of the care plan and that care plans are used in providing daily life enrichment activities for the residents. Participates in community planning related to the interests of the health campus and the services and needs of the residents and family. Ensures that staffing patterns are congruent with census. If you have these qualifications, we'd love to chat: Bachelor's degree in therapeutic recreation or a combination of experience and training required. Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist preferred. Activities Professional who is licensed or registered, if applicable by a recognized accrediting body or by the State in which practicing preferred. In the event the incumbent provides transportation services to residents, they must possess and maintain the appropriate valid license and/or certifications required to operate vehicles for transporting residents safely and in compliance with all applicable state regulations.
