<p>SUMMARY: The Assistant Fleet/Quick Response Vehicle (QRV) Team Lead assists the Fleet Supervisor with daily tasks needed to ensure the needs of the department are met under current policies and procedures.</p> <p>AREA NEEDED: Randolph, Lawrence, Greene, Craighead, Mississippi, Clay, Poinsett, Crittenden, Cross or St. Francis County</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</p> <ul> <li>Assist drivers with trip assignments, recovery trips, directions, member contact information, concerns, and any issues related to transporting members. </li><li>Serve as a secondary point of contact (POC) related to QRV trips for all departments. </li><li>Work with Fleet Supervisor to ensure all maintenance and repairs of vehicles are completed. </li><li>Ensure vehicles are equipped with all necessary safety equipment and supplies. </li><li>Monitor driver and trip status through the use of communication with driver and members, GPS tracking software, periodic ride-along evaluations, etc. as needed to ensure safe and timely transportation. </li><li>Investigate and prepare reports on all accidents/incidents per process and requested timeframe with supervisor oversight. </li><li>Recommend process improvements. </li><li>Promote a culture of safety. </li><li>Assist with regular driver safety meetings. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>EMS or NEMT experience preferred. </li><li>Clean pre-employment screenings: driving record (MVR), background check, and drug screen. </li><li>Ability to observe and understand business processes ensuring processes are documented accurately </li><li>Able to handle highly confidential and sensitive information </li><li>Must adhere to HIPAA standards </li><li>Must be able to provide positive reinforcement to the team and positively encourage the team in all aspects </li><li>Ability to work extended hours when the workload necessitates. It could include weekends, evenings, and holidays. </li><li>Professional appearance </li><li>Positive attitude </li><li>Ability to handle fast-paced and high-stress situations </li><li>Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills </li><li>Strong organizational skills, including time management and follow-up </li><li>Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills </li><li>Ability to sit or stand for long periods </li><li>Other physical activities required to complete assigned duties </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) </li><li>2 or more years of Transportation / Dispatch management experience </li><li>Experience with GPS tracking system </li><li>Experience in EMS management i.e. dispatching, routing, fleet management </li></ul>
