<p>What you'll do at OhioMHAS:</p> <ul> <li>Provides Clinical Direction </li><li>Act as Lead Worker to the Nursing staff </li><li>Develop, Coordinates, & Monitor In-Service Trainings </li><li>Coordinates continuing education requirements required by the Ohio Administrative Code as well as the standards and codes of the Board of Nursing </li><li>Coordinate orientation for nursing staff and students </li><li>Serves as administrator for the OhioHAS Learning Management System </li><li>Write and approves Continuing Education (CE) applications </li><li>Participate in Peer Review </li><li>Conduct Chart Reviews </li><li>Maintain monthly, quaterly, and annual statistical reports </li><li>Ensure adherence to The Joint Commission (TJC) and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid (CMS) standards </li><li>Serve on Committees </li><li>Acts as liaison for schools and colleges of Nursing </li><li>Attend and participate in meetings, workshops, and seminars. </li></ul> <p>This is an hourly position covered by the Ohio Health Care SEIU/1199 bargaining unit (union), with a pay range of #14 on the Ohio Health Care SEIU/1199 Pay Range Schedule. Normal working hours are Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm This position is located at Northcoast Behavioral Healthcare 1756 Sagamore Road Northfield, Ohio.</p> <p>Unless required by any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code, the selected candidate will begin at Step 1 of the pay range schedule listed above, with an opportunity for pay increase after six months of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.</p> <p>Additional Salary / Appointment Information:</p> <p>Pay increase of 4.5% July 1, 2025 and a 3% increase July 1, 2026.</p> <p>Longevity supplement after 5 years of service</p> <p>Requires current license as registered professional nurse in state of Ohio as issued by Board of Nursing per Section 4723.03 of Revised Code; 12 mos. exp. in psychiatric nursing or delivery of nursing services to persons with developmental disabilities; 1 course or 3 mos. exp. in counseling; 1 course or 3 mos. exp. in public relations.</p> <ul> <li>Or equivalent of the Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above may be substituted for the experience requirements, but not for the mandated licensure. </li></ul> <p>Job Skills: Nursing</p> <p>Required Educational Transcripts</p> <p>Official transcripts are required for all post-secondary education, coursework, or degrees listed on the application.
