We empower a diverse range of creators to imagine and develop culturally significant content, while building an organization that thrives on creative ideas, operational expertise and strategic thinking.</p> <p>JOB DESCRIPTION</p> <p>As a member of the Corporate Finance department, the Consolidations Senior Accountant will play a key role in the consolidation of our divisions' financial information to be presented to senior management and published in quarterly SEC filings (10-Q/10-K). This person will be involved in the monthly and quarterly consolidation process, which will include heavy balance sheet analysis work, preparation of financial statements and footnotes, posting topside entries, maintaining detailed integrity of the financial database, along with ad-hoc reporting requests and special projects.</p> <p>A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Monthly and quarterly consolidation process </li><li>Work closely with local finance and accounting teams, as well as various corporate finance teams (FP&A, Tax, SEC Reporting, etc.) </li><li>Analysis of various balance sheet accounts </li><li>Analysis of various roll forward accounts </li><li>Ad-Hoc Reports and Analysis </li><li>Data input, processing, and output </li><li>Support the Sarbanes-Oxley compliance efforts </li><li>Ad-Hoc Special Projects </li></ul> <p>WHAT YOU WILL NEED</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting </li><li>Big 4 accounting firm experience is preferred </li><li>2 to 5 years total experience </li><li>CPA or CPA candidate preferred </li><li>Strong organizational skills </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work with diverse groups of people </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work well under pressure, handle multiple projects and manage resources </li><li>Quick learning team player that is highly motivated and energetic </li></ul> <p>We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
