<p>Job Overview:</p> <p>Our Information Security analysts are equipped to prepare, prevent, detect, respond to and recover cybersecurity events.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Junior or Senior level undergraduates and higher who are currently enrolled at an accredited college/university.</p> </li><li> <p>Students must have a demonstrated interest in the industry and/or specific area of interest.</p> </li><li> <p>Cybersecurity, Information Security, as exemplified through past work experience, internships and/or major course of study and preferably a GPA of 3.0 or higher.</p> </li><li> <p>Other Skills and Knowledge: Python, Knowledge of SDLC, SQL, TCP/IP, NIST Framework, ISO Framework, Self-Starter, Windows/Linux/Unix, SOAP, SAML.</p> </li></ul> <p>Scheduling Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Per Diem, Day </li></ul> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Participate in the team's activities such as security investigations, intelligence, assurance, and awareness and/or other project oversight.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains records to allow for historical trending analysis.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with technology, information security, and business partners.</p> </li><li> <p>Administer and monitor profiles, review violation reports and investigate possible exceptions.</p> </li><li> <p>Understanding security policies and standards</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare materials on information security.</p> </li><li> <p>Reports, presentations, spreadsheets</p> </li><li> <p>Document processes and requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in root cause analysis for incident management.</p> </li><li> <p>Leverage knowledge from the classroom and apply to RWJBarnabas Health.</p> </li></ul> <p>Scope of the internship:</p> <ul> <li>The intern will supplement the team by shadowing security analysts and accompanying them to technology meetings/workshops. </li><li>They will learn to use systems and data analysis skills to aid in providing state-of-the-art solutions to information security-related matters. </li><li>They will have to use written and oral communication skills to generate reports on security vulnerabilities and incidents. </li><li>Candidate with Assist in Incident Response activities such as Identification, Classification and Containment of incidents. </li></ul> <p>Other Duties:</p> <p>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
