In this role, you will be responsive to needs and discomfort, work independently to enhance the healthcare experience and offer continuous patient-centered care. At Cleveland Clinic, you will have the unparalleled opportunity to find your place within an innovative family of caregivers and healthcare environment.</p> <p>A caregiver in this position works evenings from 10:30PM - 7:00AM.</p> <p>A caregiver who excels in this role will:</p> <ul> <li>Position and connect leads from electrocardiograph machine to electrodes on specified body areas. </li><li>Review patients record and instruct patients prior to procedures. </li><li>Monitor patient during procedures and report any abnormal findings. </li><li>Identify and correct for wandering, interference and artifacts. </li><li>Edit and forward results to attending physician for analysis and interpretation. </li><li>Maintain EKG equipment and supplies. </li></ul> <p>Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent </li><li>Six months of experience related to direct patient care or customer service OR completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology, Paramedic or Medical Assistant Program </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li>Healthcare experience </li><li>Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology, Paramedic or Medical Assistant Program </li><li>EKG experience </li></ul> <p>Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
