St. Peter's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is uniquely committed to enhancing the quality of life for every resident, respecting the dignity of each individual, and encouraging the involvement of family and friends.</p> <p>Position Highlights:</p> <ul> <li>Top Class Care: Part of the recognized Eddy system </li><li>Commitment to safety: Through Trinity Health's distribution network, the team has never ran out of PPE and has increased their safety training in the face of COVID </li><li>Quality of Life: Where career opportunities and quality of life converge </li><li>Advancement: Strong orientation program, tuition assistance and career development </li><li>Flexible schedule: Work schedule has some flexibility as salary </li><li>Work/Life: Leadership PTO Tier earning more time off for work-life balance </li><li>Team engagement: Leadership team engaged on the floor and utilizes team suggestions for innovative decision making </li><li>Lead a team: Assist in the creation of policies and procedures to improve quality of care! </li><li>Close to home: Location that is an easy commute from Latham, Colonie, and Delmar </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations </li><li>Assist with the education of the nursing team </li><li>Assist in the management of all nursing personnel and the administrative functions for the nursing department </li><li>Coordinating interdisciplinary team </li><li>Monitoring Infection rates and outbreaks </li><li>Assist in policy development and procedures for the facility </li><li>Acts on the behalf of the Director of Nursing in their absence </li><li>Demonstrate the organization's commitment to sound ethical business practices as directed by the Corporate Compliance Office and approved by the Board of Trustees </li><li>Accountability for the human resource and outcome management for designated resident populations </li></ul> <p>What you will need:</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of New York </li><li>Associates Degree in Nursing - Bachelor's Degree highly recommended </li><li>2+ year of experience as a RN in a leadership role </li><li>5+ year of experience as a RN in a skilled nursing or long term care setting in a leadership role </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Patient Review Instrument (PRI) certification </li><li>1+ year of experience as MDS coordinator </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Nursing </li><li>Highest level of customer service while completing day to day duties and responsibilities </li><li>Strong conflict mediation skills </li><li>Excellent communication in a fast pace work environment across teams on different shifts and different departments </li><li>Highest level of engagement within a team setting to promote a positive work environment </li><li>Promote and embrace the culture of the facility </li><li>Leadership and mentorship skills overseeing nursing and nursing support staff </li><li>Passion to learn, grow and develop in the nursing field </li></ul> <p>Pay: 100,880 -134,576 per year</p> <p>Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
