<p>We are seeking a self-motivated Pre-Certifying Lab Technician to join our Lab Operations team. In this role you would be responsible for loading samples analyzing initial results of various drug testing analyses, following procedures for handling inconsistent or indeterminable results, and preparing documentation to align with chain of custody requirements. This role also performs maintenance on platforms used for confirmatory results including but not limited to: preparation of solutions, troubleshooting, cleaning, and additional maintenance.</p> <p>Shift: 06:00 - 02:30pm</p> <p>Salary: 21.00 - 22.00</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Loading prepared samples onto confirmation equipment </li><li>Initial review of confirmation data from Liquid Chromatography Tandem Mass Spectrometer (LC/MS/MS) instrumentation </li><li>Provide feedback to maintenance team on assay integrity and performance </li><li>Perform start up and daily maintenance of LC/MS/MS equipment </li><li>Perform minor troubleshooting of LC/MS/MS equipment as needed </li><li>Applies knowledge and skills to produce quality work and facilitate meeting turnaround time goals </li><li>Responsible for meeting minimum productivity requirements </li><li>Directs efforts towards production areas that need assistance </li><li>Assist with new technology </li><li>Collaborate with co-workers, managers and other supervisors to solve work-related problems within or between departments; answering and resolving questions/issues daily </li><li>Follow work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals, respond to fluctuating workloads, and improve quality and productivity of laboratory operations </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Possess a bachelor?s degree in a science field (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Pre-med (Biomed), Forensics & Toxicology), required </li><li>Experience as a senior lab tech or analysis, preferred </li><li>Knowledge of Agilent Laboratory Information Systems software, preferred </li><li>Data entry skills via a keyboard (alpha and numeric) required </li><li>Strong eye-hand coordination </li><li>Ability to handle a high-volume environment while maintaining the highest level of quality, required </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <p>Cordant supports our employees by providing a comprehensive benefits package to eligible staff (per state regulations) that includes: Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), Health Savings Accounts (HSA) Paid Time Off (PTO) accruing on day 1, Volunteer Time Off (VTO), Paid Holidays, 401(k) with Company Match, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Short Term and Long-Term Disability (STD/LTD) and Company Paid Basic Life Insurance.#LAB123</p>
