<p>Greenwood Health and Living is now hiring a Full time Resource Licensed Practical Nurse. The schedule is Monday thru Friday Days or Evening shift available. We offer daily and weekly pay options and great benefits.</p> <p>About the Role</p> <p>As a Resource Licensed Practical Nurse at Greenwood Health and Living, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care to residents. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. You will be instrumental in providing wound care, administering medications, and educating patients and their families about health management. This position requires a compassionate approach to nursing, ensuring that each resident receives personalized attention and support. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to enhancing the overall well-being and quality of life for our residents.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Provide direct patient care, including wound care and medication administration. </li><li>Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans. </li><li>Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness practices. </li><li>Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team. </li><li>Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Current and valid Nursing License. </li><li>Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program. </li><li>Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting. </li><li>Certification in wound care management. </li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. </li></ul> <p>Skills</p> <p>The required skills of wound care and patient education are essential for ensuring that residents receive appropriate treatment and understand their health conditions. Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is vital for effective communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Your nursing license validates your ability to provide safe and competent care, while your experience in patient care enhances your capability to address diverse patient needs. Preferred skills, such as certification in wound care management, will allow you to deliver specialized care that can significantly improve patient outcomes.
