Clinical partners include Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, Newark's University Hospital in Newark, and other affiliates.</p> <p>Through this community of healers, scientists, and scholars, Rutgers is equipped as never before to transform lives.</p> <p>Posting Summary</p> <p>Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Office of Education and Academic Affairs at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.</p> <p>The MD/PhD Program Coordinator plays a key role in managing the administrative, operational, and student support functions of the MD/PhD dual-degree program. This position ensures the smooth execution of program activities, facilitates communication among students, faculty, and leadership, and provides support for recruitment, admissions, student affairs, and program development.</p> <p>Among the key duties of this position are the following:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee daily operations of the MD/PhD program, ensuring compliance with institutional policies and accreditation standards. </li><li>Organize program meetings, faculty advisory board meetings, and other administrative functions. </li><li>Monitor and manage the program budget, process reimbursements, and track expenses. Acts as project lead to perform various research/technical operations relative to the ongoing research in the lab associated with the mechanism of selenocysteine incorporation. </li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for MD/PhD students regarding program-related inquiries, academic progress, and administrative matters. </li><li>Plan and execute student development activities, including workshops, seminars, and networking opportunities. </li><li>In collaboration with RWJMS admissions, coordinate the MD/PhD admissions process, including application review, interview scheduling, and communication with prospective students. </li><li>Assist with recruitment efforts, including organizing information sessions, attending conferences, and developing promotional materials. </li></ul> <p>Position Status Full Time Hours Per Week Daily Work Shift Work Arrangement</p> <p>Consistent with the current application of Rutgers Policy 60.3.22 or the applicable provisions of relevant collective negotiations agreements, this position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement.
