Label specimen correctly and adding formalin to all specimen that do not require special attention. </li><li>Responsible for dictating gross descriptions of GI, GYN, prostate, kidney, liver, bone marrows, as well as surgical devices. Inks and cuts breasts in accordance with appropriate breast protocols. </li><li>Performs and assists with specimen and frozen section preparation. </li><li>Receives and releases bodies in the morgue to ARORA, Coroner's office, Crime lab, and funeral homes, assuring all paperwork is complete and correct. Maintaining cleanliness and set up of autopsies in morgue. </li><li>Daily cleaning of cryostats with appropriate reagents. </li><li>Maintaining a positive attitude and correctly performs all duties during strenuous work hours. </li><li>Performs preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.
