We have an opportunity for you!</p> <p>Eddy Village Green Cohoes is looking for a Per Diem RN Supervisor and Educator to join their caring and compassionate team, in a unique position that encompasses both Supervision and Educating!</p> <p>As a Per Diem RN Supervisor this individual would support the following basic functions on an as needed basis on evening, night and weekend shifts:</p> <ul> <li>Act as the senior liaison and administrative person on the campus and address staffing and family concerns </li><li>Lead and mentor nursing staff on the units </li><li>Participate in auditing or QA activities </li><li>Demonstrate the organization's commitment to sound ethical business practices as directed by the Corporate Compliance Office and approved by the Board of Trustees </li></ul> <p>In the Educator role, this individual would support the following functions on an as needed basis:</p> <ul> <li>Assist with designing, developing and providing comprehensive nursing orientation to new-hires </li><li>Work closely with leadership and nursing staff to determine supplemental training opportunities, developing and providing new training on an as needed basis </li><li>Partner with the RN Educators across the Continuing Care Division to maintain a consistent and positive orientation experience </li><li>Assist with monitoring and support efforts to achieve and maintain positive quality measures </li></ul> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of New York </li><li>Associate's degree in Nursing or Degree of Nursing from an accredited school </li><li>3 years or more of experience as a RN preferably in skilled nursing </li><li>Experience as a RN in an educator or supervisory role </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Computer literacy and comfort utilizing multiple computer applications </li><li>Excellent communication in a fast paced work environment across teams on different shifts and in different departments (nursing, human resources, leadership) </li><li>Strong engagement within a team setting </li><li>Passion to learn, grow and develop in the nursing field </li></ul> <p>Pay Range:$36.50 - $50.68 per hour</p> <p>Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
