<p>Position Overview</p> <p>The Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences in the College of Communication at Butler University invites applications for a nine-month senior lecturer to develop and lead an online graduate program in Deaf Education, modeled after the successful program at Fontbonne University. This is a three-year appointment, which may be renewable based on the performance and viability of the program. The position is nine-months, with a stipend for summer work on the program. During the first year the incumbent will work to develop the curriculum and shepherd it through the university approval processes. In subsequent years there will be a 3-2 teaching load for the position. CCOM is a dynamic and forward-thinking college that seeks to create an inclusive learning environment with a student-focused approach. Lecturers in the College have a typical teaching load of 4 courses per semester with an expectation for creative/professional activities; however, this position will have a teaching load of 2/2 for the Fall 2025 semester along with responsibility for managing the BSOL Program.
