Applies complete knowledge, skills, and practices to perform assignments.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>What is the opportunity?</p> <p>Support senior CLO New Issue professionals in managing the CLO syndication process, and at times, the CLO warehouse financing process.</p> <p>What will you do?</p> <p>Principal Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>To support the origination and execution activities of RBC's new issue CLO effort </li><li>Work with the RBC sales force to help educate them on product, current transactions in market, and trends in CLO structures </li><li>Prepare systems needed to execute a CLO syndicate process </li><li>Execute and prepare sales tickets coordinating with sales and trading teams for settlement of trades </li><li>Prepare and distribute P&L reports </li><li>Generate and maintain issuance data base and analytics associated with historic execution </li><li>Assist with special ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned </li><li>Proactively identify operational risks/control deficiencies in the business </li><li>Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to your business activities </li><li>Escalate operational risk loss events, control deficiencies and risks that you identify to your line manager and the relevant risk and control functions on a timely basis. </li><li>Role supports global business and requires attention to detail on transactions </li></ul> <p>Key Relationships</p> <ul> <li>High Yield/Leveraged Loan Clients - These are CLO managers we will be working with on a regular basis </li><li>ABS/CLO Sales - Key distribution members for the CLO products </li><li>Syndicate Professionals </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions</p> <ul> <li>Work in fast paced, trading floor environment in NYC with a typical 5 day work week </li><li>There may be the need to travel to visit clients and attend conferences. </li></ul> <p>What do you need to succeed?</p> <ul> <li>Strong analytic and quantitative skills - able to analyze numbers very well </li><li>Familiarity/comfort with Bloomberg </li><li>Strong MS, Excel, Word, PowerPoint are required </li><li>Strong written and oral communications - comfort dealing with multiple counterparties in a high paced environment </li><li>Ability to prioritize work flows and multi-task responsibilities including working for and with multiple people </li><li>Positive attitude with a strong desire to help the desk achieve highest level of standards in all facets and functions with a willingness to perform beyond what is asked </li><li>Solid understanding of HY Leveraged Loan / Structured Credit & Products / Mortgage Products </li><li>Must have a strong desire to build profitable, trusting and long-term customer partnerships </li><li>Must be consummate team player with a can-do attitude </li><li>Minimum of 5 years' experience in CLO/CDO or other structured products </li><li>Series 7/63 </li></ul> <p>The good-faith expected salary for the above position is $225,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.
