Our internship is curated to deliver a rich learning experience for both personal and professional growth. Our program is hands-on, participating in meaningful work that directly effects the company's success. You are an active contributor and valued as a part of your team!</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>In conjunction with WoWToWN's current Ways of Working, we intend to offer a hybrid program for our interns, ensuring both a flexible and immersive experience. All applicants should plan to be in the Philadelphia area and access to our Home Office throughout the entirety of the program.</p> <p>Internship Details:</p> <ul> <li> <p>10 weeks: June 2nd - August 8th</p> </li><li> <p>Full time - 40 hours/wk</p> </li><li> <p>Paid - $17/hr</p> </li><li> <p>Greater Philadelphia location - Hybrid Model - 3 days/week in our Home Office in Old City.</p> </li><li> <p>Hands on, results driven projects. (On average, we hire 2-3 of our intern alumni each year)</p> </li><li> <p>And of course - some fun product!</p> </li></ul> <p>Overview:</p> <p>The goal of this internship is to assist in the development, documentation, and implementation of a standardized Sample Catalog process across multiple departments at the company. This catalog will enhance productivity and streamline workflows for Visual Merchandising, Product Development, Marketing, Merchandising, and E-Commerce teams. The intern will support cross-functional collaboration, gather feedback, and develop strategies for process improvement, culminating in a comprehensive set of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for ongoing use.</p> <p>The intern will have the opportunity to engage with several key departments, observe workflows, and directly contribute to shaping a company-wide sample catalog system that supports all business partners.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Strategic Committee Coordination:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assist in organizing, scheduling, and facilitating strategic committee meetings involving key stakeholders from Visual Merchandising, Product Development, Marketing, and E-Commerce.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with committee members to ensure the successful development of the sample catalog process.</p> </li></ul> <p>Documentation Development:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Work alongside cross-functional teams to draft and standardize documentation for the sample catalog process, ensuring consistency and clarity across departments.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in the creation of guidelines and best practices for using and managing the sample catalog.</p> </li></ul> <p>Cross-Department Collaboration:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Collaborate with omnichannel business partners to understand their specific needs for the sample catalog and ensure their requirements are included in the process.</p> </li><li> <p>Foster open communication between teams to ensure the sample catalog supports all relevant departments effectively.</p> </li></ul> <p>Process Optimization:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Identify areas of improvement within the current sample catalog system and assist in the development of solutions to streamline processes.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with stakeholders to test and iterate on process improvements, ensuring the catalog is optimized for productivity.</p> </li></ul> <p>Communication & Reporting:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Regularly update stakeholders on progress, key milestones, and results.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in creating reports and presentations to communicate strategies, goals, and outcomes to various teams.</p> </li></ul> <p>Training & Support:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Help create training materials and support documents for teams using the sample catalog.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in onboarding relevant team members to the new catalog system and provide ongoing support as needed.</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Skills and Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Highly Organized: Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, timelines, and stakeholder feedback effectively.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work well across departments, facilitating communication between diverse teams such as Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Product Development, and E-Commerce.</p> </li><li> <p>Effective Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to present findings, articulate strategies, and contribute to documentation.</p> </li><li> <p>Strategic Thinking: Ability to think critically about business needs and develop long-term solutions that support department goals and company objectives.</p> </li><li> <p>Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills to address challenges and optimize the sample catalog process.</p> </li><li> <p>Adaptability: Flexibility and willingness to adapt to new processes, tools, and technologies in a fast-paced environment.</p> </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Must be actively enrolled as a rising Junior, Senior, Grad Student or recent Grad in Communications, Strategy/Innovation, Business Administration, Project Management, Merchandising or related field</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum 3.0 GPA</p> </li><li> <p>Must be comfortable with Microsoft Office products & remote meeting software</p> </li><li> <p>Must have availability for the full 10-week program as space is limited</p> </li><li> <p>Must have access/commute to the Philadelphia Home Office throughout the 10 week program (3 days/wk hybrid)</p> </li><li> <p>Must be a self-starter, highly passionate & detail oriented</p> </li><li> <p>Active ability to problem solve & communicate effectively</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge and passion for our brand is a plus!</p> </li></ul> <p>Does all the cool stuff above sound like you?
