<p>R10063904 Manager, Leave Administration, North America (Open)</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Radnor, PA (Airgas HO) - ManagementHouston, TX (HO) - Support functions - Hub Corporate</p> <p>How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?</p> <p>As part of our Labor & Employee Relations CoE team for North America, the Manager, Leave Administration is responsible for leading a team of Leave Partners who administer the leave of absence and related benefit programs for our employees in the United States and Canada. This leader will have a passion for building better processes and solutions, and familiarity with both manual and vendor-managed absences, and who can effectively navigate the complexities of US and Canadian laws. The leader's primary objective will be to ensure the effective and compliant delivery of our absence management and related programs, and support the overall well-being of our workforce. The position reports to the Head of Employee Relations & Compliance, Americas, and partners very closely with the Director, HR Compliance and Director, LR/ER for North America.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Serve as the leader for a newly centralized operating model for absent management, leave administration, and reasonable accommodations management for North America (NAM and Airgas Clusters, and GBUs located in North America).</p> </li><li> <p>Leads the internal Leave of Absence team, ensuring absences are managed efficiently and in compliance with applicable laws and company policy to ensure business continuity and employee engagement.</p> </li><li> <p>Subject matter expert who stays current with laws and regulations in the US and Canada</p> </li><li> <p>Develops team expertise in case management and implements best practices for managing leave claims, both in a manual and a vendor-assisted framework</p> </li><li> <p>Provides strategic thought leadership for leave-related processes and policies, and collaborates with teams such as the Benefits CoE, Safety, HRBPs, Payroll, HR Ops, BSC, Risk Management, to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of benefits and leave programs.</p> </li><li> <p>Identifies opportunities for process and policy harmonization with the goal of optimizing expenses while enhancing the employee experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and maintain cross Cluster tracking of all ADA accommodations requests, actions and outcomes.</p> </li><li> <p>Partner with HR Operations/BSC and third-party vendors, when in place, to ensure accurate and timely leave processing, record-keeping and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage relationships with external vendors, ensuring service-level agreements are met and optimizing vendor performance</p> </li><li> <p>Prepares and reviews reports related to leave and absence administration, providing insights and recommendations to leadership</p> </li><li> <p>Stays informed of legislative and regulatory changes that may impact leave policies, and partner with CoE to implement any necessary adjustments proactively</p> </li></ul> <p><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>____</strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></p> <p>Are you a MATCH?</p> <ul> <li> <p>The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of progressive experience in leave of absence and/or benefits administration within a large multi-state or province organization supporting a workforce of 20,000+ employees.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in leading multiple teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Expertise in RFP management with outsourced providers and subsequent management of outsourced providers is essential. A demonstrated ability to thrive in a transformational environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong expertise in current relevant laws and regulations including FMLA, ADA, STD, LTD, SDI, Workers' Compensation in the U.S., as well as Canadian provincial, ACA and AODA laws and regulations, and industry best practices related to disability, leaves and best practices.</p> </li><li> <p>Previous experience with Workday and leave absence tracking technologies.</p> </li><li> <p>Proven ability to establish KPIs, analyze performance metrics and drive operational improvements</p> </li><li> <p>A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Disability Management, Occupational Health or equivalent.</p> </li></ul> <p><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>____</strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></p> <p>We care about and support our Airgas Families.
