Ability to operate Fork/Clamp Trucks and enter data in the ERP system A/R. Adheres to company standards of safety and quality, while maintaining efficiency and timeliness.</p> <p>Essential Functions and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Support, demonstrate and promote Pregis' core values: integrity, collaboration, customer focus and innovation. </li><li>Adheres to the highest standards of company safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations including all personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements. </li><li>Housekeeping throughout assigned shift to ensure an orderly and safe environment. </li><li>Physical and visual inspection of products is required to prevent non-conforming goods. Promptly reports all quality defects to the appropriate team members. </li><li>Ability to operate Fork/Clamp Trucks. </li><li>Ability to lift and stack product above shoulder height on warehouse/production floor and out bound trailers. </li><li>Assists to maintain a safe, well organized, FIFO (first in, first out) controlled warehouse. </li><li>Unloading and putting away incoming materials. </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Ensure compliance with safety and work regulations including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow all safety rules. </li><li>Attend meetings and complete safety training as required. </li><li>Report all hazardous conditions to the Lead, Operations Supervisor, or Plant Manager immediately for corrective action. </li><li>Report any accident, incident or near miss to the Team Lead, Supervisor, Manager or Plant Manager. </li><li>Performs other job-related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Competency (Knowledge, skills, and abilities)</p> <ul> <li>Ability to take coaching well and communicate respectfully with others to ensure a positive teamwork culture. </li><li>Ability to communicate with team effectively and respectfully, and during shift transition. </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow standardized work instructions and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement culture. </li></ul> <p>Environment</p> <ul> <li>Exposure to moving equipment. </li><li>Inside and outside work </li><li>Possibility of exposure to extreme range of temperatures </li><li>Humidity may exceed 80% </li><li>Noise may exceed 85dB+ </li></ul> <p>Physical Characteristics</p> <ul> <li>Frequent standing, stooping, squatting, up to 75% of time </li><li>Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling (up to 50 lbs.) </li><li>Occasional typing/keyboarding/preparing documents. </li></ul> <p>Position Type</p> <ul> <li>Full time </li><li>Overtime expected per business demand. </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience required. </li><li>Minimum 1 year warehouse experience preferred. </li></ul> <p>#pp1</p>
