We believe that the key to providing truly excellent health care is to partner with our patients and their families, building a system of care that is effective, affordable, and valuable to everyone who is touched by it.</p> <p>ChristianaCare's Imaging Department is currently recruiting for a Full Time Outpatient MRI/CT Section Supervisor</p> <p>Responsible for:</p> <ul> <li>Direct supervision and oversight of MRI and CT technical staff </li><li>Outpatient MRI Safety practices and protocols </li><li>Participation in MRI Safety Committee </li><li>Education of departmental staff and other departments or groups as necessary on MRI Safety </li><li>Performs HR activities, evaluations, disciplinary actions as necessary </li><li>Technical staffing schedules and vacation approvals for multiple locations </li><li>Quality control of clinical images to ensure technical standards compliance </li><li>Maintain and schedule the maintenance of imaging and patient care equipment including regulatory compliance, safety, and specifications of equipment (ACR, State of DE Radiation Control, State of Delaware CLIA license) </li><li>ACR Accreditation of all MRI and CT units </li><li>Prepare and ensure compliance with JCAHO standards for multiple locations </li><li>New employee and department orientation </li><li>Function as site leader for off site locations as needed </li><li>Participation and reporting in Performance Improvement initiatives </li><li>Other duties as required </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 5 years imaging experience required </li><li>ARRT (R) required, (MRI) preferred. </li><li>Prior supervisory or management experience preferred. </li><li>Excellent customer service/telephone skills required </li><li>Proven leadership abilities </li><li>Ability to function independently </li><li>Problem solving and complaint resolution </li><li>Interacting with physicians, patients, and families </li><li>Demonstrated organizational skills </li><li>Excellent computer skills </li><li>Associates degree required.
