<p>Overview: The position is responsible for the collection of the open AR and researching chargebacks daily.</p> <p>Major responsibilities (include but are not limited to):</p> <ul> <li>Assist in month closing by ensuring all appropriate information is entered into computer, and reviewing and updating current aging report for discrepancies and finance charges </li><li>Research and respond to all accounts receivable inquiries in a prompt manner; </li><li>Review/ verify payment deduction </li><li>Understanding research on Chargebacks </li><li>Process credit memo </li><li>Research credit applications, when appropriate, notify customers of approval/disapproval status; document pertinent credit information in accordance with company procedures; </li><li>Daily research of unapplied & unidentified payments </li><li>Respond to customer inquiries </li><li>Work with inter-departments to obtain necessary documents for CB's </li><li>Assist Department Manager/ Director on special projects </li><li>Monthly/ Quarterly Reporting on past dues invoices & CB's </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>4+ years of Accounts Receivable experience </li><li>High school diploma required </li><li>Attention to detail </li><li>Ability to read and comprehend simple instruction, short correspondence, and memos </li><li>Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook </li><li>Work effectively under time pressure </li><li>10 key by touch with speed and accuracy </li><li>Strong communication skills, both oral and written </li><li>Plan, organize, and schedule own workload efficiently </li><li>Ability to apply technology to solve problems and improve processes </li><li>Understanding research on Chargebacks </li><li>Must have manufacturing experience </li></ul> <p>Education, Licenses, Certificates, Registrations and/or Experience:</p> <ul> <li>HS Diploma </li><li>College Degree in Accounting is a plus </li><li>Prior Wholesale experience required </li><li>1-2 years collection / charge back experience a must </li><li>AS400 experience is a plus </li><li>Microsoft Office especially Excel </li></ul> <p>The expected base salary for this position ranges from $24.00/hr - $26.00/hr. Ranges are based on various factors such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
