You will work closely with nursing staff to monitor patients' health and report any changes in their condition. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to a supportive and nurturing environment that fosters healing and comfort for those in our care.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assist residents with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing. </li><li>Help patients with mobility and physical activities, including transferring and positioning. </li><li>Monitor vital signs and report any significant changes to the nursing staff. </li><li>Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including changing bed linens and cleaning equipment. </li><li>Document patient care activities and communicate effectively with the healthcare team. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state of employment. </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Basic life support (BLS) certification. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience in a long-term care or assisted living facility. </li><li>Additional certifications in specialized areas of care, such as dementia care. </li></ul> <p>Skills</p> <p>The required skills for this position include effective communication, which is essential for interacting with residents and their families, as well as collaborating with the healthcare team.
