<p>Aspen Trace is now hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA's) for all shifts. Daily and Weekly options pay and great benefits!</p> <p>About the Role</p> <p>As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Aspen Trace, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients with daily living activities, promoting their independence while maintaining their dignity. You will work closely with nursing staff to monitor patients' health and report any changes in their condition. This position requires compassion, patience, and a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our residents. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to a supportive and nurturing environment that fosters healing and comfort for those in our care.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assist residents with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing. </li><li>Help patients with mobility and physical activities, including transferring and positioning. </li><li>Monitor vital signs and report any significant changes to the nursing staff. </li><li>Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including changing bed linens and cleaning equipment. </li><li>Document patient care activities and communicate effectively with the healthcare team. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state of employment. </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Basic life support (BLS) certification. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience in a long-term care or assisted living facility. </li><li>Additional certifications in specialized areas of care, such as dementia care. </li></ul> <p>Skills</p> <p>The required skills for this position include effective communication, which is essential for interacting with residents and their families, as well as collaborating with the healthcare team. Compassion and empathy are crucial in providing emotional support to residents, helping them feel valued and understood. Attention to detail is necessary for accurately monitoring vital signs and documenting care activities. Time management skills will enable you to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Preferred skills, such as specialized training in dementia care, will enhance your ability to provide tailored support to residents with specific needs.</p>
