<p>Basic information</p> <p>Job Name:</p> <p>Carlyle Structured Credit, Fund Management Senior Analyst</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>New York/340</p> <p>Line of Business:</p> <p>Finance</p> <p>Job Function:</p> <p>Investor Services</p> <p>Date:</p> <p>Wednesday, April 23, 2025</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>Carlyle Global Credit is seeking an experienced individual responsible for supporting all aspects of the fund management, fund accounting and financial reporting for Carlyle Structured Credit business including Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs) and liquid credit SMAs. The individual will work closely with and support the Structured Credit product team to oversee all CLO focused executions.</p> <p>This position requires strong accounting and finance experience, working knowledge of the credit industry and valuation techniques for both liquid and illiquid credit products a plus, sound organizational and analytical skills as well as the ability to build rapport with Carlyle investors, TPA and the various constituents we interact with throughout the firm.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ol> <li>Fund Management / Operations </li></ol> <ul> <li>Coordinate with investment team, legal/tax counsel, and middle office operations team to plan and execute fund and deal closings including legal entity structuring </li><li>Assist with formation process for all new entities and prepare documentation needed for internal Legal Entity approval, coordinate establishment of tax documentation (W8, W9) for all entities </li><li>Monitor legal compliance with various fund agreements and side letter arrangements </li><li>Review capital activities including capital calls, distributions, management fee and other cashflow allocations. </li><li>Review valuation models prepared by deal team and prepare valuation materials and certifications for the quarterly valuation meetings </li><li>Prepare Economic Net Income models for FP&A budgeting and reforecast </li><li>Review fund and asset level performance metrics </li></ul> <ol start="2"> <li>Accounting / Financial Reporting / Management Company Reporting / Investor Reporting </li></ol> <ul> <li>Detailed review of quarterly fund closes based on data received from the Third-Party Administrator ("TPA"), which includes review of related support for all balance sheet and income statement accounts, consolidation templates and financial footnote support. </li><li>Review of accrued and realized performance calculations from the TPA </li><li>Monitor CLO consolidation analysis </li><li>Review firm 10Q/10K and coordinate interim and year-end audit request including coordination for SOX and SOC1 testing and address questions from external auditors. </li><li>Oversee month end management company reporting, including reviewing tracker updates, cash reconciliations, budget to actual fluctuation analysis, and monthly General Ledger with Corporate Accounting </li><li>Coordinate corporate deliverables and disclosures for firm's public company reporting </li><li>Manage the monthly working capital review and quarterly billing of expense reimbursements and management fees with Corporate Accounting </li><li>Working with vendor contract management to review and approve new service contracts. </li><li>Review and approval expense allocations and invoice payments </li><li>Prepare and respond to investor inquiries and requests </li></ul> <ol start="3"> <li>Tax Reporting </li></ol> <ul> <li>Oversight the External Tax Teams and review of annual tax workbooks including CLO PFICs and partnership K-1s </li><li>Facilitate mid-year planning discussions and coordination deliverables with Corporate / External Tax Teams </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Education & Certificates</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance required </li><li>CPA preferred </li></ul> <p>Professional Experience</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 3+ years' experience either in structured credit or public accounting </li><li>Knowledge of U.S. GAAP with an emphasis on accounting for investment funds </li><li>Knowledge of CLOs or Structured Finance is a plus </li></ul> <p>Competencies & Attributes</p> <ul> <li>Highly motivated; Self-starter </li><li>Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and balance multiple priorities </li><li>An innovative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills </li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to own and see projects to completion </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and a team player </li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal </li></ul> <p>Benefits/Compensation</p> <p>The compensation range for this role is specific to New York City, and takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to the skill sets required/preferred; prior experience and training; licenses and/or certifications.</p> <p>The anticipated base salary range for this role is $90,000 to $120,000.</p> <p>In addition to the base salary, the hired professional will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package spanning retirement benefits, health insurance, life insurance and disability, paid time off, paid holidays, family planning benefits and various wellness programs.
