<p>Overview</p> <p>This internship will involve the coordination/planning of events that enhance AmTrust's image and improves employee and agent loyalty and experience. This internship will assist with the planning, logistics and execution of all details for face-to-face and virtual events both internal and external facing.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Supports all aspects of planning to include registration build and management, app creation, survey development, technology needs, meeting space and food & beverage planning, signage, templates, property sourcing, selection and contract negotiations, vendor and customer relations, budgets and reconciliation, accounts payable, transportation, etc. while following company processes and guidelines </li><li>Collaborates closely with appropriate departments and vendors to ensure all requests, visions, goals, budgets and strategies are seamlessly executed </li><li>Maintains working knowledge of happenings in the industry as well as up-to-date information on new hotels, restaurants, travel policies, etc. </li><li>Contributes expertise, business knowledge and innovation across various AdHoc projects </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>Intermediate skill level using Microsoft Office Suite </li><li>Demonstrate a level of confidence, professionalism, and interpersonal skills appropriate for interfacing and communicating with all levels including executives, both internal and external </li><li>Creates and builds positive and productive relationships </li><li>Extremely detail-oriented, with strong organizational, multi-tasking, decision-making and problem-solving skills (solutions oriented) </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Communications, Hospitality, Food Service Management, Public Relations, Marketing or similar ideal </li><li>Experience and/or prior coursework in financial analysis, planning, budgeting, and marketing preferred </li></ul>
