Providing the best customer service in the industry allows us to continue raising the bar on what quality service looks like.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for loading the company trucks with the required materials for that day </li><li>Perform new installations and service on residential overhead doors and electric openers, as well as retro work (replacement doors) </li><li>Install and service electrical and mechanical equipment to meet manufacturer standards </li><li>Work onsite to repair doors, operators, rolling and sectional doors, and secure brackets to mounting posts </li><li>Ensure a safe environment by monitoring the door area and clearing debris, tools, and equipment from the job site </li><li>Maintain a service truck, ensuring it is clean and in good working condition </li><li>Clear communication with team members ensuring directions for a job are clear, updating the office when job is done </li><li>Assisting team members with other job sites and covering to complete quick service calls </li><li>Utilize tech support for troubleshooting equipment </li><li>Thoroughly document all work performed and make recommendations for repairs </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Excellent customer skills </li><li>Experience with electrical troubleshooting </li><li>Mechanical aptitude </li><li>Professional attitude </li><li>Energetic and flexible </li><li>Safety focused </li><li>Ability to identify additional tasks to be completed and willing to assist other </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment </li></ul> <p>Supervisory Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>This position has no supervisory responsibilities. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment and Physical Demands</p> <ul> <li>Residential environment </li><li>Prolonged periods in changing climates </li><li>Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times </li></ul> <p>Travel</p> <ul> <li>This job requires no planned business travel. </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>Mechanical Knowledge (Preferred) </li><li>Electrical experience (Preferred) </li><li>Residential Garage Door experience </li><li>High School Diploma </li><li>0-1 Years of experience </li></ul> <p>Disclaimer</p> <p>This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of the required activities, duties, or responsibilities of the team member.
