The District reserves the right to change this vacancy or not fill this vacancy based on further staffing changes, enrollment, or budget.</p> <p>Position: Long-Term Substitute Grades 3-4 Special Education Teacher Location: Center Elementary School Assignment Dates: March 19, 2025 - June 17, 2025 (dates are subject to change)</p> <p>Description:</p> <ul> <li>Design, supervise and implement students' IEP plans </li><li>Instruct students using specialized curriculum. </li><li>Develop curriculum modifications and adaptations. </li><li>Participate in IEP Team meetings. </li><li>Write effective IEPs for students </li><li>Collect and analyze student data and monitor student progress </li><li>Effectively work with a team of professionals to coordinate services including BCBA and related service providers </li><li>Consult with general education teacher and related service providers. </li><li>Assist classroom teachers with instructional strategies to facilitate inclusion. </li><li>Write quarterly progress reports for IEP goals that are data based on student performance. </li><li>Administer various diagnostic achievement assessments that identifies student capabilities as part of initial and reevaluation for students. </li><li>Write effective evaluation reports summarizing findings and making recommendations for assigned students. </li></ul>
