<p>Summary of Responsibilities:</p> <p>Do you have a passion for both advising business leaders on how to build, develop, engage and retain their talent and the challenges and complexities of employment practices? Are you a subject matter expert in employee relations and are confident in your ability to advise other HR business partners on complex situations? Do you command trust and confidence through your deep knowledge of employment law and your ability to resolve conflict with fairness and objectivity?</p> <p>Essential Responsibilities:</p> <p>About the Role:</p> <p>As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for advancing and maturing employment practices and processes across the organization. You will serve as a strategic advisor and escalation point for employee relations matters, ensuring that our policies, procedures, and practices strike the right balance between compliance, managing risk, business goals, and a positive workplace culture.</p> <p>You will also serve as an HR Business Partner to a dedicated client group and will support leaders with talent and organizational planning, engagement, development, retention, etc.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Employment Practices Lead</p> <ul> <li> <p>Serve as the primary escalation point for employee relations investigations.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive consistent and equitable employment practices across the organization.</p> </li><li> <p>Act as the HR liaison for enterprise workforce related risk, managing sensitive matters with discretion, judgement and professionalism.</p> </li><li> <p>Design and deliver training and materials to mitigate organizational risk and strengthen leadership accountability around managing the workforce and performance.</p> </li><li> <p>Partner with leadership teams to establish and promote workplace policies that reflect fairness, respect, and open communication.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure compliance, safety, and equity through in-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.</p> </li><li> <p>Resolve complex workplace conflicts with objectivity and a solutions-oriented mindset and balanced judgement and discretion</p> </li><li> <p>Makes enterprise connections to drive alignment across stakeholders, proactively plans and responds to emergent issues and brings practical and stabilizing presence when solving business challenges.</p> </li></ul> <p>HR Business Partner</p> <ul> <li> <p>Engage with client business groups to build relationships, understand their business and make connections.</p> </li><li> <p>Advise clients on employment related issues in partnership with other SMEs as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Proactively identify talent concerns and influence leaders on best practices to consider.</p> </li><li> <p>Implement and continually improve programs such as performance management, coaching, talent management and succession planning.</p> </li><li> <p>Meet diverse stakeholder needs while planning and executing programs and projects.</p> </li><li></li></ul> <p>What You Bring:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High capacity for work as this role has multiple stakeholders and accountabilities.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to juggle strategic and tactical priorities and execute on both.</p> </li><li> <p>A curiosity to identify what needs to be done and a passion for making it happen.</p> </li><li> <p>High learning agility and adaptability in navigating ambiguity and change.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong communication, collaboration, conflict management, change management and problem-solving skills.</p> </li><li> <p>A servant leadership mindset with a proactive and objective approach to employee relations.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated ability to influence, build relationships, and drive outcomes in a matrixed organization.</p> </li><li> <p>Deep expertise in workforce related employment law, compliance, and risk mitigation strategies.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to meet stakeholder needs while planning and executing programs and projects is required.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience as a formal leader or leadership aspirations.
